intraSPXª Prescription Insert System
NYX has teamed with Sved Optics to create the lightest and most complete sports optical system in existence. The patented (U.S. Patent No. 5,790,230) intraSPXª optical insert can be easily interchanged between the polycarbonate lenses of the NYX Sport Vision System. This effectively gives the sports enthusiast which need vision correction lenses the ability to adapt instantly against changing sunlight conditions.

Lens Material Options:
Plastic CR-39 - This lens material is the most economical. Plastic is the least impact resistant of the lens materials offered.
Polycarbonate - This material is 20-30% thinner and lighter than CR-39 plastic. Polycarbonate is the most impact resistant of any lens material and is strongly recommended for use in active sports. Scratch resistant coating is included.
Polycarbonate 1.0 -This is the thinnest, lightest lens material in existence. This material is recommended for stronger prescriptions. Scratch resistant coating is included.
Hi-Index Plastic - This material lacks the impact resistance of Polycarbonate 1.0 but is comparable in thickness and weight. Hi Index material is considered to have the best optics available in a thin lens design.

You do not need to send in the sunglasses when you place your order for the prescription insert. Simply follow the instructions on the instruction card and return this card with your recent eye exam results.

Soft Hands Fielding Trainers
The Birmingham Softhands Infield Trainer is a training aid that when used regularly in practice will lead to correct fielding mechanics and ultimately better performance in games.

AKADEMA AMISH WOOD BASEBALL BATS

Amish build AkademaÕs Wood Bats in the Pennsylvania Dutch Tradition. The Amish have been considered the best wood craftsmen since their emigration to America in 1737. Their legendary expertise in fine wood products and craftsmanship continues in AkademaÕs Amish Wood Bats.

The Akadema Wood Bat starts its journey in the heart of the Catskill Forest where the hardest, healthiness, straightest Northern Ash and Rock Maple is found. Lumberjacks from the region select each split of ash and maple. The wood is then sent to a mill where it is inspected, turned into billet and dried to specifications. The billet is then hand selected by AkademaÕs VP of Wood Production and sent to our Amish wood shop. Without any electrical power the bats are turned similar to the process used two centuries ago.

Akadema Youth Amish Wooden Bat:

Recommended for helping hitters improve hand and arm strength as well as assisting them in learning the feel of wooden bats. NOTE: Some leagues in the United States are now mandating use of wooden vs. metal bats. Should such a mandate arise in your league, there are no finer wood bats than the Akadema series.
