Ray Burris Academy

One of the best ways to improve an Athlete's skills and understanding of the game of baseball is through one-on-one or small group instruction.

Outside of conventional coach/player relationships, these type of sessions can help a player develop more confidence, an enhanced understanding of game-situation actions and a more finely tuned skill set. It's no secret, time spent with a private instructor may improve a player's performance 25-30% within 90 days.

At first, there's an assessment period when an instructor will evaluate the skills of a player. Thereafter, each Instructor will have their own particular system for bringing out the best in an athlete. Prices vary per instructor, but parents can expect to pay $30-40 per half hour, with rates dropping slightly for one-hour sessions or longer committments.

Teams can often lower costs by scheduling group sesssions or clinics, and most instructors offer "camps" or "clinics during the regular and off seasons. Check our directory below for upcoming camps and clinics.
